You may have heard, but we’re here to remind you that Bethany is back teaching at Bare Feet! After a little time away to hang with her super cute baby girl, this momma is now teaching the 8:30am class on Wednesday mornings. For a little more about this O.G. Barefeet yogi, read on!
When do you regularly teach at Bare Feet?

8:30am Wednesday Mornings

What is your favorite yoga pose and why?

Gomukhasana. Shoulders and hips at the same time, what could be better? My shoulders and hips are pretty much always tight and so this is the pose I find myself in most. i.e in the car, on the couch, while playing with my baby.

Do you have any pets?

Two pets! A Scottish Fold cat, Norman and our Shiba Inu, Badger

What’s your guilty pleasure?

My guilty pleasure is watching anything Bachelor/Bachelorette related while drinking bubbles and eating chocolate (JUDGE AWAY).

Who is your celebrity crush?

Man, Chris Pratt and woman Blake Lively

What’s your go-to West Loop post-yoga snack stop?

My go to post-yoga stop is always a Draft Latte from La Colombe and donuts. Always.

If you were stuck on a deserted island, what book, movie, and song would you choose to read, watch and listen to for the rest of your life?

If I was stranded on a desert island the book I would have to read would be The Book Of Virtues, a book that was read to me as a child and has been something I’ve remembered and come back to my whole life.
The movie I would watch would be The Sound Of Music because all the feels and the music, duh.
And the song would have to be (this is an impossible question btw) Bon Iver, Re:Stacks. Because every time I hear it I feel something different and it makes me so nostalgic.

When you’re not at Bare Feet you are ________smooching my 6 month old’s chubby cheeks or spending time in Northern Wisconsin at the lake with family

Outside of yoga in a studio, what else do you do to stay active and healthy?

My yoga practice is not what it once was and rather than being in a sweaty studio every day I find myself doing lots of stretching & yoga while playing on the floor with my baby. I sneak out for class when I can and always make time to go for walks with the babe and pup. Our daily walks have become my meditation
