The holidays are right around the corner, which means it’s a good time to think about ways to give back and spread some cheer! It can be a busy time with work parties, family gatherings, and fun, and sometimes it is a challenge to make time for all the commitments. We’ve got a couple ideas of things you can easily do to make a difference in someone else’s life this holiday season.

Blanket Drive at Bare Feet

BFPY will be collecting blankets for the animals that are waiting for adoption at the CACC! Drop off at the studio or loft throughout December. We will be delivering them on Christmas Eve!

Salvation Army

Have clothes or household items that no longer serve you? Schedule a donation pick-up and someone can come to you to take these things off your hands! You can also drop things off yourself at a nearby thrift store.

Grocery Stores

Check out if any of your local grocery stores have donation bins for non-perishable food items. You can usually find these close to check-out areas starting about a month before Christmas.

Donate Extra Change

A financial contribution can go a really long way in helping non-profits and charities. Start a fund with friends with your spare change and cash, who really wants that stuffing up their clutch these days anyways?! Do some research on organizations that speak to you and see if you can donate online.
