Our 2 hour Beginner’s Workshop is great for people who are brand new to Power Yoga and for those who are looking to get back to the basics.
We will kick the workshop off with a brief introduction about Power Yoga. You will learn a little about the history, what to expect during a typical class, and why this practice is so powerful. After a short conversation we will spend the majority of our time together breaking down all the poses in Sun Salutations A & B. You will learn how to transition through the poses smoothly, how to incorporate ujjayi breath into your flow, and different ways to modify each pose based on your needs. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have throughout this workshop and you will leave feeling empowered and ready to take any of our classes!
