Our brand new Beginner’s Part II Workshop takes us deeper into the foundational poses of Power Yoga. It is great for anyone with some exposure to yoga or anyone looking for guidance to grow in their practice. Prior participation in our Beginner’s Workshop is encouraged but not required!
We will start with a very brief overview of all that we learned in the Beginner’s workshop –what to expect in class and the poses included in Sun Salutations A & B. After we flow through some Sun Salutations to warm up our bodies, we will spend the majority of our time together breaking down foundational standing poses, focusing on hips, lunges, and twists. You will learn further tools to listen to your body, find your edge, and creative ways to vary the poses based on your needs. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and you will leave more confident in your practice.
