Join Dr. Callista Lay DC, RMT, for a 2-hour work shop on the healing art of Reiki, as well as explore the 7 basic chakras and how they impact our lives and well-being. Reiki is, an originally Japanese, form of energy healing in which a practioner, facilitates, and directs, the flow of energy into the receiver. The basic chakra system is often incorporated into many spiritual, and healing disciplines, such as reiki. The word “Chakra” comes from the Sanskrit word for “wheel” and literally translates into “wheel of energy”, making the chakra system the perfect benefactor of healing work done in reiki sessions.

Dr Lay will discuss topics on Reiki; including education on how it works, and how it can be used, as well as give a fundamental breakdown of the 7 main charkas. Chakra topics will center around what each chakra represents, when they develop, and how they impact our lives in a practical, down to earth sense, as well as learning what type of self-work can be done to heal, and recharge our chakra system.
If you’re interested in learning more about Reiki, or simply want to receive more insight into why you tick the way you tick, then this is the workshop for you! This workshop serves as a great, but not required, pre-requisite to Reiki I training. Participants in this workshop will receive 10% off of enrollment for Reiki I.
