OUR CLASSES
There is a profound moment when breath meets movement. At Bare Feet, that’s how we define yoga. We are rooted in the practice of Power Yoga, amplifying the traditional asana postures to a powerful vinyasa flow. Our classes challenge both physicality and equanimity, achieving balance through restoration and mindfulness. Whether it is your first yoga experience or you’re ready to return to your mat, we invite you to move, breathe and experience yoga with our community.
The Bare Feet Experience
Our studio is moving into Brooklyn Boulders on September 23. It’s a short commute from our original location. We will be offering classes out of their dedicated yoga studio space and you will now have access to all of the amenities each time you visit us! Come for yoga, stay for the showers, weightroom, healing services, climbing and other fitness classes.
There will be lockers for storing your things during class (please bring a lock with you). We have complimentary bubbly water outside our studio, props for everyone to use during class, and complimentary community yoga mats to borrow at no extra cost.
Cancellation Policy: We require 2 hour advance notice for cancellations for our In Studio classes. We require 30 minute advance notice for cancellations at our outdoor classes and no notice for our virtual classes. If a student signs up for class and fails to make the reservation or cancel prior to the class starting, the student will be deducted one class from their package or be charged $10 if using a monthly unlimited membership.
Prenatal and Injury Recovery: While we welcome everyone into our community with open arms, we encourage you to consult with your doctor to determine if heated yoga is appropriate for you before attending your first class.
Power Flow

Connect your breath to your movements as you flow through this athletic and vigorous style of yoga practice. Class begins with Sun Salutations and includes a variety of standing, balancing, backbending and hip opening postures designed to build your strength and increase your flexibility. Surrender to the sweat as this becomes a truly empowering experience.
Power Express

Spirit Flow
Uplifting | Spiritual | Heated
Open your heart and dive deeper into the expansive teachings of yoga. Through intentional practices and communal connection, we increase our capacity to love. Elements of meditation, breathwork or chanting are woven into this lighthearted flow. We begin with inspirational cards, sacred herbs or essential oils so you’ll leave feeling uplifted with a greater sense of unity, connection and oneness.
All Levels Yoga

This class embodies the root of yoga… connection and oneness. Together we will move through a vinyasa yoga practice designed to keep beginners comfortable and confident, while offering some challenging variations for the already dedicated yogis. Meet yourself as you are and learn to go with the flow as we tailor this class to the group that shows up each given day.
Candlelight Beats
Uplifting | Spiritual | Heated
This class fosters the connection between the soul and the senses. We turn down the lights and jam to beats as we release the external pressures and melt into the mat during this deeply personal power vinyasa experience.
Strong Power
Athletic | Uptempo | Heated
Want to take your physical practice to the next level? This class is for you. We weave a variety of advanced postures, core exercises, arm balances, and inversions in this already powerful vinyasa practice. To help further refine our skills in defying gravity, we occasionally slow things down and break down these challenging postures giving you more time to play on your hands.
Strength & Alignment
Athletic | Structured | Heated
Build strength, heat, and equanimity in this class focused on physical activation and alignment. This class is ideal for anyone looking to deepen their relationship with the poses they know and love (plus maybe try a couple new ones!) We will move through a series of postures to challenge the body and take time to break down alignment as needed. You will leave you feeling confident in both your physical practice and yourself.
Trigger Point Yin
Gentle | Healing | Non Heated
Surrender into the peaceful serenity with this gentle and relaxing practice. Expect long, deep holds in traditional postures that target connective tissues, increasing flexibility and joint mobility. Yin is a perfect complement to a regular Power Yoga practice; it’s unique nature serving to release anything the body has locked up leaving you in a restored, rejuvenated state.
Candlelight Restore
Restorative | Slower Pace | Non Heated
Restoration is the secret for true reset, recovery, optimal health and performance! Sink into deep relaxation through the use of restorative postures paired with yoga props with this non-heated class. The focus is less rather than more. Slow down, let go, and integrate your physical body and mind into stillness and inner peace. Pranayama and Reiki energy healing will be sprinkled into the classes.
Sunday's class concludes with a Yoga Nidra- a state of deep relaxed consciousness that lands between the realms of asleep and awake. Described as the blissful savasana, where lucid dreaming, and increased depths of healing occur. All Levels welcome.

Turn off the mind, and turn up the music in this uplifting power vinyasa class. Upbeat playlists are paired with skillfully crafted sequences to create a feeling of liberation. This yoga practice combines equal parts strength and flexibility, while weaving in creative transitions, to get you out of your head and into the moment.
Breathe - Flow - Meditate

The path of yoga extends far beyond the physical. In this class we explore breathing practices, purifying yogic postures, somatic movements, and different forms of meditations for a vitalizing experience that unifies the body, mind, spirit connection. All levels welcome.
HOT DETOX
Vigorous | Consistent | Heated
Cleanse your body with this deeply detoxifying class, designed to promote physical, mental, and emotional vitality. Prepare to sweat as we move through a powerful combination of dynamic yoga and static postures in our hottest class. There is consistency in the sequencing each week to provide a disciplined practice- giving you the chance to witness your own progress. Hot Detox balances the whole body system as it strengthens the left and right sides equally - releasing dominance, underlying habitual patterns and vulnerability.
