FAQs

How hot is your studio?

We heat our space between 90-94 degrees for most classes, we believe practicing in a heated room opens up your body, increase your flexibility, helps your body detoxify and prevents injury. Our Yin and Restorative classes are heated between 80-85 degrees to foster a more relaxing environment to surrender into the stillness.

Do I need to sign up before class?

We recommend signing up for class in advance, and we are happy to welcome walk-ins as long as we have space!

What time should I arrive at the studio?

We open 30 minutes before classes begin and lock our doors at the start of class. So we suggest arriving 10-15 minutes beforehand to give yourself time to get settled in. If you plan to drive to the studio, parking can be a challenge so make sure you give yourself extra time to find a spot.

Do you offer parking?

We do not have any dedicated parking spots.  There is free street parking in front of our studio on Monroe, Morgan or Adams.  Depending on what’s going on in the West Loop it can be a challenge to find a free spot to park.  You can pay to park on Monroe (East of the studio) or on Madison (most days).

Do you have showers or a locker room?

We do not. Our space is very simple. We have one bathroom, one changing room, and a lot of cubbies in our lobby to store your stuff during class.

What should I bring?

Please bring a mat, towel and water bottle. If you don’t have these items or forget them, we have community mats you can use for free, as well as small hand towels and drinks to purchase.

What if I am not Flexibile?

That’s one of the best reasons to try out yoga! Yoga is a process and everyone has to start somewhere, take rest whenever you need to. We welcome everyone to all of our classes and never judge you if you can’t hold a pose or opt out. It may not be easy, but your body and mind will thank you. Additionally, if you have concerns we recommend consulting your doctor.
