Yoga has been a form of moving meditation for Sarah since she first stepped on a mat in 2013. Throughout the years, she has turned to her yoga practice as a way to strengthen and heal her body, mind, and spirit. Her main practice has involved Iyengar, Yin, and Power Yoga, although she has ventured into Partner, Paddle Board, and Aerial Yoga classes too! Sarah's love for yoga was revitalized as she began taking classes at Barefeet in 2022, where she explored weaving elements of spirituality, breathwork, and meditative practices into her yoga practice and daily life. In 2024, she chose to take her yoga education one step further by learning the fundamentals of teaching Power Vinyasa Yoga in Barefeet Power Yoga's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
Sarah's classes implement a low-and-slow power; as yogis settle into postures for a deep stretch or a slow burn, intentional focus will be called to their breath. In all classes led by Sarah, students are encouraged to take what serves them and leave the rest, while maintaining respect for all.
